Sometimes I think that when I went to the other side of the world all my words dried up. I got so used to keeping myself submerged and boxing up the things I was thinking or feeling and sending them to the bottom of the sea. I don't remember how to reach them.

I do know that for all that I like being cozy and snug in my abstract reality I do have to peel back the curtains sometime. I suppose.

Good God do I love to listen to some excellent depressing shit. I need to go rewatch 5x04 and cry my eyes out.

Stuck with insomnia and irritated at possessive published authors, I decided to attack 3am's apogee of darkness with words. Well unfortunately I concentrated so hard on not letting the story turn into a sassy rom-com (and it keeps trying to) that I got distracted and ended up describing sand for about forty-five minutes. Then I realized, this must have been how George Lucas felt.

No wait I forgot: he had been trying incite romance.

In any case: gibberish about sand. Really useful for the plot, lemme tell ya. So instead of watching a cockroach do its dying backstroke on the floor, I started studying the Korean letters. 한글!

Getting into work my co-teacher demanded some international names — more specifically, four from America, one from Italy.

Some kid gets to be "Ezio" today. :D Too bad we didn't need a name for some dude from the Holy Land.

Paradise Lost is making me ship Lucifer/Uriel. Oh God, this book is so great.

And when that queen's daughter came of age,
I think she'd be lovely and stubborn and brave
and suitors would journey from kingdoms away
just to make themselves known.

And I think that I know the bitter dismay
of a lover who brought fresh bouquets every day
when she turned him away to remember some knave
who once gave just one rose
one day
years ago.

Gosh Karev could you be more wonderful.

I bet you stole your neighbors' Christmas presents too, didn't you?

His and Meredith's bffness is the best thing I've seen since Callie and Mark's bffness. <3 Families.
